UNBELIEVABLE! This is what your home will look like when you live on Mars.

August 24, 2019 0
For quite a long time, living in Mars has been a topic on a lot of people's lips. It's sometimes considered a myth in some part of the world by some people. To me, Mars is a place worth going, I mean think of the adventure of floating in space crafts, having to be in a place far from the boring usual. It's just way too much to imagine.

If you have always had retirement plans prior, there’s a chance that, sooner or later, you might have to move further than you were thinking. As far as Mars.

On Thursday, to mark the launch of its new six-part docudrama Mars, National Geographic will unveil the first ever Mars show home, giving earthlings an idea of what their life could look like on the Red Planet.
Set in the not-so-distant year of 2037, in Valles Marineris, a vast system of canyons on the Mars equator, the igloo-shaped structure could be the home of your future.

It depicts a house built using recycled spacecraft parts and Martian soil, called regolith, which has been microwaved into bricks. Some parts of the home are recognisable – kitchen, bedroom – but there are core differences that are vital for human survival.

We don’t think of our houses as things that keep us alive, but on Mars your dwelling will be a survival centre

As the Martian atmosphere is around one hundredth as thick as the Earth’s, people will need permanent shielding from the sun; society will move largely indoors. Most buildings will be connected by underground tunnels and the houses won’t have windows. The homes will have simulated solar lighting, or natural light that has been refracted several times.

Walls will need to be 10 to 12ft thick, to protect people from dangerous cosmic rays that can pass through six feet of steel, and a double air-locked entrance will keep the home pressurised.

“We don’t think of our houses as things that keep us alive, but on Mars your dwelling will be a survival centre,” says Stephen Petranek, author of How We’ll Live on Mars and a consultant on Mars.

This is not just the stuff of sci-fi. “Ten to 20 years from now there will certainly be people on Mars,” Petranek says.

Entrepreneur Elon Musk aims to land people on Mars by 2024 and thinks he can send 80,000 people to the Red Planet by 2050. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is working on a similar plan.

“We’ve had the technology for 30 years to do this, but we haven’t had the will,” Petranek says. But two main factors have “completely shifted public attitudes”
The private sector’s involvement has forced government agencies to up their game, and influential films such as Gravity and The Martian have caught society’s eye.

Petranek is optimistic about humans’ future on Mars. He likens the challenges of starting a new society in space to troops in war, who become close because they are dependent on each other for survival.

“I think we will create a very liveable and likeable environment,” he says. “It’s not terrifying. It’s kind of glorious.”

So what do you think about this agenda? What was running through your mind as you read through this post? You can't wait to get to Mars probably?
Do you think it's a bad idea? Well, you can put them all down in the COMMENT  section below.

How to determine If Your child has been SEXUALLY Abused

August 23, 2019 2
Research has it that one out of every eighteen minors get sexually abused before the age of 18 and tend to get proof of that on daily basis on both media platforms and those close to us.

The culprits of these dirty crimes could be guardians, relatives, neighbors or outsiders. What's more, for the most part, the sexual mishandle could wait for whatever length of time that the culprit needs, or the length of the guardians or gatekeepers of such kids don't discover.

Now and again, guardians of such youngsters may not see the manhandle until the tyke starts to limp; out of genuine uneasiness, hint at pregnancy or side effects of sexually transmitted infections. What's more, when the youngster is excessively youthful, making it impossible to stroll, as there are situations where minors of not exactly a year are assaulted, it could be more hard to recognize what he or she is experiencing.

In the mean time, the injury these sexually abused minors experience could have been minimized if their folks, watchmen, more established kin or even neighbors had discovered sufficiently early, preventing a repeat or the seriousness.

It ought to first be noticed that tyke sexual mishandle is not restricted to sex; touching a youngster's reproductive organs for sexual delight, making the kid to touch another person's privates, demonstrating smut to a kid, seeing sexual pictures of kids, intentionally uncovering a grown-up's privates to a tyke, urging a kid to listen to sexual discussions or wrongly viewing a kid disrobe or utilize the lavatory are all types of manhandle.

Since kids would scarcely volunteer to discuss their injury, there is the need to call attention to the things guardians could pay special mind to know whether their kids had been or are being manhandled or not:

Sudden change in walking steps: One great approach to know whether a youngster, has been sexually manhandled is if there is a (sudden) change in the way the kid strolls. Given the area of the privates, and the way that their private parts are excessively delicate for such action, the kid may likely support wounds or agonies in that locale, which would influence the way such a youngster walks.

For instance, a 60-year-old man engaging in sexual relations with a six-year-old young lady would likely leave the young lady with extreme vaginal wounds. What's more, as indicated by reasearch, youngsters that have quite recently been mishandled tend to walk as though there is bubble in the middle of their laps. "It is better for guardians to pay consideration on any such change before the torment would recuperate and it would be overlooked."

Dischrage from private parts: Children who have been mishandled, particularly young ladies, have a tendency to have some fluid, or blood release from their genitals. Given that such young ladies have a tendency to be virgins, the intense intercourse could abandon them seeping for quite a while, which would recolor their jeans. Subsequently, on the off chance that you discover your kid's gasp recolored, particularly with blood, make inquiries or see a specialist.

Having bad dreams: Due to the injury such youngsters have experienced, it is normal for them to have unnerving dreams or all of a sudden shout out from rest. This may not be a solitary marker of sexual manhandle, but rather it could likewise be a pointer, which is the reason guardians ought to focus.

Scratching private parts: While it may not be totally strange for kids to need to scratch their privates for various reasons, specialists have said it ought to be an issue of concern when a tyke does that reliably, as it could be an indication of disease or agony occasioned by mishandle. They said making inquiries could be an answer before it ruffians into a blemish or something more genuine. In a similar vein, Parents Protect has prompted that physical signs, for example, unexplained soreness or wounds around private parts ought to draw the consideration of guardians.

High temperature: It has similarly been watched that the push, 'dread of being executed' as said by the attacker, and tension that have a tendency to go with such "odd" action, could make a youngster that has been manhandled to have high temperature.

Frequent Urination: Research also has it that; minors who have been recently sexually abused tend to pee routinely, which could misdirect the parent to imagine that the tyke took an excessive amount of water. Accordingly, if your kid is utilizing the bathroom every now and again, dissimilar to some time recently, give careful consideration and make inquiries.

Being bizarrely cryptic: It has likewise been watched that kids who have been mishandled will probably abruptly gotten to be undercover, principally because of the way they had been debilitated by the attacker. Their quietness could likewise be out of the dread of being condemned by their folks. Along these lines, there could have temperament swings or be carrying on in unusual ways. As indicated by Parents Protect, being all of a sudden cool, pulled back or clingy, which for this situation implies exorbitantly clutching someone else out of feeling unreliable, are signs guardians ought to keep an eye out for. They are along these lines encouraged to delicately ask questions for what reason the tyke had been acting in a weird way.

About-facing to old practices: Due to the unpalatable experience they had, discoveries by Parents Protect have demonstrated that such youngsters have a tendency to do a reversal to some old propensities, such as bed-wetting. Thus, if your tyke abruptly continues bed-wetting, having ceased prior, give careful consideration.

Change in dialect: Ordinarily, kids are not anticipated that they would know certain terms, by temperance of their age, particularly when it needs to do with sex, yet when a youngster starts to say or depict such terms, without having the capacity to give the wellspring of such data, guardians are encouraged to give careful consideration and make inquiries.

Bizarre conduct within the sight of people of the inverse sex: Now and again, kids who have been manhandled have a tendency to be careful about people of the inverse sex since they would likely observe each such individual as a potential attacker. Subsequently, they might need to flee, begin panicky or abstain from being distant from everyone else with any individual of the opposite sex separated from their folks or kin. That could likewise be a sign.

In any case, it ought to be noticed that one sign might possibly be adequate to close, however Parents Protect close attention to that the nearness of at least one of these signs could recommend that such guardians ought to start to make inquiries and consider looking for help, all the more so kids are wont to give suggestions as opposed to talk when something is transpiring.

How, to abstain from being casualty, specialists have exhorted guardians to teach their youngsters on issues this way and afterward create solid amicable association with their kids to such an extent that at whatever time anything untoward happens, they would don't hesitate to open up to them, paying little respect to any danger from the culprit

Stop These 8 Habits, They Damage Your Kidneys!

August 23, 2019 7
The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs, each about the size of a fist, located just below the rib cage on each side of the spine. Every single day, the kidneys filter about 120-150 quarts of urine, waste and excess fluid to prevent the buildup of waste in the body.

The kidneys keep electrolyte levels stable and produce hormones that help regulate blood pressure, make red blood cells and keep bones strong.

If the kidneys sound pretty important, that’s because they are. Healthy kidneys are vital to keeping everything in the body running smoothly. Damage to the kidneys can often go unnoticed, so it’s important to take preventative measures to ensure kidney health.

Here’s a list of eight (8) common habits that you might not realize are putting a lot of pressure on your kidneys and may lead to serious kidney damage over time.

ENJOY and SHARE!

1. Not drinking enough water

One of the important functions of the kidneys is to filter blood and get rid of toxins and waste materials that can harm the body. When you don’t drink enough water, those toxins and waste materials start to accumulate, eventually causing severe damage.

2. Consuming too much salt

The body does need sodium to work properly, but an excess of sodium can cause damage. Most people consume too much, which can raise blood pressure and put stress on the kidneys.

3. Holding urine

This might sound odd, but almost everyone does it. The urge often comes during a car ride, in the middle of a phone call, or when there isn’t a bathroom nearby. Holding in urine on a regular basis increases pressure, which can lead to kidney failure and kidney stones. When nature calls, it’s best to listen.

4. Taking too much coffee

Coffee contains caffeine, and caffeine can raise blood pressure and put extra stress on the kidneys, just as salt can. Over time, excess coffee consumption (or caffeine consumption, such as energy drinks) can lead to kidney damage.

5. Consuming too much protein sourced from animals

Consuming an excess of animal protein (especially red meat) increases the metabolic load on the kidneys. The more animal protein one consumes, the harder the kidneys have to work, which can cause stress and lead to kidney damage.

6. Taking too much alcohol

Consuming too much alcohol doesn't only damage your kidney but also damages your liver as well. Most people enjoy a glass of wine or a beer here and there, but more than one drink several times a week can raise the risk of kidney damage. Alcohol puts stress on the kidneys and the liver.

7. Abusing painkillers

Both over-the-counter and prescription drugs are commonly taken for aches and pains without concern about the harmful side effects that may arise. Excessive use or abuse of painkillers can lead to severe kidney and liver damage.

8. Depriving yourself of sleep

Chronic sleep deprivation is linked to many health problems, including kidney disease. The body works while sleeping to repair kidney tissue that may be damaged, so depriving the body of sleep makes it harder to heal.

Find Out How Taking Selfies Cause THESE Mental And Personality Disorders!

August 22, 2019 0
All of us have one or two friends we’ve seriously considered holding a selfie intervention for. And thanks to some new information, we’ve now got a few genuine reasons to be concerned. You see, psychologists have linked compulsive selfie-taking to a number of mental health and personality issues.
‘Oh, but surely that only applies to people who take an insane amount of selfies,’ you might be thinking. Actually, no. According to the American Psychiatric Association, even just three selfies daily is cause for concern.
Let’s take a look at a few of the issues experts say are at play in compulsive selfie taking.

1. Narcissism

Research has shown that individuals with higher narcissistic personality traits tend to post more selfies on social media. Editing a selfie before posting it is a sign of even greater narcissism.

Narcissistic individuals need admiration to function. Posting a selfie allows them to get this admiration by way of likes and comments. This sort of admiration is incredibly misleading due to the disingenuous nature of social media. That doesn’t stop it from going to a narcissist’s head, of course.

2. Body Dysmorphic Disorder

“Two out of three of all the patients who come to see me with body dysmorphic disorder since the rise of camera phones have a compulsion to repeatedly take and post selfies on social media sites,” says psychiatrist Dr. David Veale (Via).

One British teenager with the disorder actually tried to kill himself when he couldn’t get a perfect selfie. 19-year-old Danny Bowman spent 10 hours taking up to 200 selfies every single day. He didn’t leave his house for six straight months.
Of course, Danny’s case is extreme. But the near-universal nature of his following statement sends shivers down my spine:
“The only thing I cared about was having my phone with me so I could satisfy the urge to capture a picture of myself at any time of the day.”
In body dysmorphic disorder patients, compulsive selfie-taking often accompanies an eating disorder.

3. Low Self Esteem:

According to mental health expert Tina Sadri, behavior such as frequent selfie posting “may be little more than a self-presentational strategy to compensate for very low and fragile self-esteem.”
While selfies may seem to boost one’s self-esteem, they actually do so in a negative way.

“Teenagers are often driven by insecurity to construct a desirable persona, they are particularly vulnerable to the negative side of self-portraiture,” says psychologist Lucie Hemmen. “If a young girl poses provocatively and gets 300 likes for that photo, that’s false self-esteem for that kid.” (Via)

FEEL FREE TO SHARE THE HECK OUT OF THIS POST, I WON'T COMPLAIN. ✌️✌️

Google Records All Conversation You Make Around Your Phone. Learn How To Hear And Delete Them

August 22, 2019 0
Google’s voice search function doesn’t just turn on when you ask it to. Rather, it records almost everything. The outlet reports that Google began doing this in June of 2015. Sounds creepy yet? Well, it gets even worse. You see, you can listen to the recordings Google has stored and associated with your name simply by visiting this webpage the company set up.
The feature works as a way of letting people search with their voice, and storing those recordings presumably lets Google improve its language recognition tools as well as the results that it gives to people. But it also comes with an easy way of listening to and deleting all of the information that it collects. That’s done through a special page that brings together the information that Google has on you.

How to delete the recordings

Luckily, if you’re not too happy about Google having potentially hours of your voice in its database, you can delete those files.
Beside each file’s title you’ll see a checkbox.
Simply check those boxes and click 'delete'.

How to Stop Google from Recording You Again

Now, as The Independent points out, stopping Google from recording you does result in some limited functionality if you’re using an Android phone or the company’s search.

However, you may be someone whose concern for privacy is much greater than finding what you’re looking for easily. If so, begin by never using Google’s voice search functions again. Follow up by disabling Google’s voice search.

Follow these steps for Android users:
  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. Tap the General tab
  3. Under “Personal” find “Language and Input”
  4. Find “Google voice typing” and tap the Settings button
  5. Tap “Ok Google” Detection
  6. “Under the”From the Google app” option, move the slider to the left
You can watch the video below to learn more about Google's creepy recording database:

8 Fashion Brands We All Know By Name But Haven't Seen The Faces Behind Them

July 31, 2019 0
You probably have heaard big fashion brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, Versace etc — and perhaps might have, at one time, thought about how they looked or the people behind them. Some of the geniuses behind these big fashion brands, may tend to be camera shy, or may choose to stay away from them, perhaps for their sanity, or to concentrate more on their craft, or perhaps for some other reasons — apparently best known to them.

Should you have ever wondered what the faces behind those beautiful, out-of-this-world and madly expensive designs looked like, we have compiled a list of the faces behind the most famous fashion brands — of course, for your reading pleasure.

Please, do read and share!

1. Gianni Varsace

Gianni Varsace had a mom who was a seamstress, so he spent a great deal of his childhood learning how to sew. He first launched a Versace boutique in 1978 and quickly went international. Gianni got his design inspirations from the contemporary and pop cultures. He was also one of the first designers to link fashion to the music world and was friends with legends like Elton John, Cher, Sting, Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. Versace died in 15th July, 1997, after which his sister Donatella Versace took over the business.

 2. Miuccia Prada

The youngest granddaughter of Mario Prada, Miuccia Bianchi Prada took over the family business in 1978. One of the best dressed women in the world (as per Forbes), Miuccia is the head designer of the luxury brand Prada and the founder of its subsidiary Miu Miu. Although most of her designed goods look more like pieces of art than actual clothes, Miuccia abstains from merging fashion with art by proclaiming that "Art is for expressing ideas and for expressing a vision. My job is to sell."

3.  Dolce and Gabbana

Domenico Dolce, 60, and Stefano Gabbana, 56, came in contact with each other mid 1980, in Milan when they both were working for the same fashion house. Afterwards, they created their own fashion label five years later. Dolce & Gabbana later became known for their sensual and sexy style, often inspired by classic and feminine looks of the women of Sicily. The business partners also also share their romantic life together.

The duo are known to always be associated to one controversy or the other - the most recent one was stirred up last year when they posted a video on their social media accounts, of an Asian model eating Italian food with chopsticks. Dolce & Gabbana was accused of racism and their show in Shanghai was cancelled.

4. Roberto Cavalli

Roberto studied weaving techniques at a young age, which fascinated him more than his actual formal school studies. It soon became an inspiration to drop out of school and open his own textile printing business, that slowly made him a name in the fashion world. At 32, Roberto Cavalli presented his first ready-to-wear collection in a Paris fashion show organized at that time. Not long after, he opened a fashion boutique in Saint-Tropez and his name became synonymous with glamorous and sexy style.

5. Tommy Hilfiger

Thomas Jacob Hilfiger, born March 24, 1951 (age 68) after working in a clothing store on Cape Cod in 1969, decided to use his life savings of $150 to open a clothing store in 1971. The People's Place soon went bankrupt in 1977. After bankruptcy, he moved to New York City - the fashion capital of the US - where he worked for several brands. By the age of 28, he once again took a shot at creating his own clothing company, called Tommy Hill. Six years later, he established the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation which was destined to become one of the most recognizable fashion brands in the world.

6. Tom Ford

Tom Ford, 58, have shown without a doubt to be the master of all, this can be shown in his professionalism in his career path as a fashion designer, film director, screenwriter, and film producer. Mr. Ford is of many talents and not only designs clothes and make up, but has directed such movies as A Single Man and Nocturnal Animals. Tom spent his childhood in the suburbs of Texas and later - in New Mexico. Tom launched a line of menswear, beauty wear, and accessories back in 2006. You can take a break ladies, he's gay, and definitely very much married to his gay partner

7. John Galli [Dior]

Even though John has been proclaimed as one of the greatest British designers and even has been named British Designer of the Year four times, his career has seen its sunset after the scandal of 2011. Apparently, John holds anti-Semitic views and was not afraid to express it in a public place, after, probably, having one or two glasses of wine. Therefore, to no surprise, his own label was shut down the same year and he was fired from Christian Dior.

8. Calvin Klein

Having been born to Jewish parents in 1942, Calvin Richard Klein launched his company that would later become Calvin Klein Inc., in 1968. He is renowned for being an amazing businessman that took undergarment fashion to a whole new level. Thanks to this veteran fashion genius, the world now craves for panties with a CK line on them. Of course, that's not all that he crafts - the brand Calvin Klein also produces clothes, perfume and accessories.
